Fryniwyd Tennyson Jesse was a playwright, novelist and war correspondant (WWI) during the first decades of the 20th century. This is the first collection of the Solange Stories, a set of murder tales about a Frenchwoman detective whose psychic powers allow her to sense the presence of evil, which were originally published in The London Magazine in the 1920s.
