The Mystery of the Blue Train

First edition. Original blue cloth with red lettering and border in extremely rare pictorial dustwrapper. A very good copy, with some marginal staining and foxing affecting the final pages, but the cloth is bright and clean, in a dustwrapper which has undergone heavy restoration. Portions at the top and bottom of the front panel, and an inch from the base of the spine have been added, but about two thirds of the back panel and the rear flap have been incorporated in facsimile. In truth more of a resurrection than a restoration, however the overall impression is attractive and represents a very rare survival of a 1920's Christie dustwrapper.
