A large sheet containing six original ink drawings by BB, four drawn for The Badgers of Bearshanks. Ink notation reads "Black and White decorations for Badgers of Bearshanks". There are various pencil notes re sizing and positioning. 39 x 32cm. A charming insight into the the production of BB's work. The sheet is folded, though individual drawings could easily be mounted and framed.
Used in BB's "The Badgers of Bearshanks", published by Ernest Benn in 1961. Drawings are: two badgers, swans, beehives, skaters and a badger's set.
