Original pencil and watercolour on paper. 94 x 93mm including border. Inscribed on reverse by the artist, "L.G.R's Christmas page 14", plus a rough sketch of owl in flight with squirrel on his back. Fine condition.
An attractive watercolour depicting a snowy scene where Mrs Hedgehogg and young master Fuzzy-peg meet Hare at his garden gate.
PROVENANCE: From the estate of the artist (copy of letter from Collins dated 1979 confirming return of this illustration, and others, by Tempest, included).
