Auction Representation

Buying at auction can be an exciting prospect but also one fraught with dangers. Auction catalogue descriptions are rarely as comprehensive or accurate as a bookseller's description, and they do not offer the same safeguards on authenticity and price that a reputable bookseller would.

However, with the backing of sufficient specialist expertise and market knowledge, this can be used to the buyer's advantage. We attend many major auctions throughout the world, and are happy to act on your behalf. In doing this we will undertake to inspect, authenticate and evaluate the items, as well as bidding and delivering for you.

If you have seen a book to be offered at auction which you like our help on, please contact us for more details.
