Inscribed by the author to her niece, "To Catherine, to whom this book is dedicated with her godmother's love, Anne Kennington." Drawings by C. Conway Gordon. A very good copy indeed, a couple of childish figures pencilled in at the rear.
The printed dedication in this book reads, "To Catherine, my brother Eric's daughter." Eric being artist, Eric Kennington, most famous for his work on T.E. Lawrence's Seven Pillars of Wisdom.
