Further photographic illustrations throughout the text. A very good copy indeed, with a bright upper board and clean interior and the spine slight faded with a short closed tear to its head. Previous gift inscription to front free endpaper.
Following the success and popularity of the chapters on the repair and restoration of houses in Small Country Houses Of To-day, Weaver decided to expand on the subject, choosing forty examples of enlarged and repaired old houses. They include The Wharf in Sutton Courtenay, King John's Farm in Chorleywood and Vann in Hambledon.
