First edition. Original Red cloth with gilt lettering, in the dustwrapper. Signed by Christie on the front free endpaper. Then in Fraser's hand it reads "Signed on the occasion of her 80th birthday at a party given by Collins, Antonia fraser October 1970" In another hand it is noted that Fraser then gave the copy to a friend in 1991. A good copy with some splashes to the covers, in a very good dustwrapper which has fading to the red spine lettering as usual.
A charming association and provenance.
