Fifty six full page illustrations, including 7 colour plates of flags, plus many more illustrations in the text, by R.T. Pritchett and from photographs. A very good set, previous owner's name on the front free endpaper of each volume.
A history and description of yachting as a sport, including its development, the design of different yachts, racing rules, descriptions of clubs and specific races. The illustrations include maps of race courses.
