First edition. 8vo. Dark red pictorial cloth, lettered in gilt, with a design printed in orange and yellow. Top edge gilt. Seventy five colour plates under captioned tissue guards, plus map at rear. The plate to page 114 has a tiny abrasion, other plates perfect. This is a near fine copy of one of the rarest of the 20/- series. The book is bright and tidy with beautiful illustrations, endpapers a little browned and some light spotting.
The scenery, history, customs and colour of Andalusia, from Seville, Cordoba, Grenada, the Alhambra and Malaga to the Ronda. One of 3000 copies, originally published at 20/-.
