First published edition, first issue with single endpaper repeated four times. 12mo. Maroon paper covered boards lettered in white and with pictorial onlay of the Tailor. Pictorial endpapers and 27 colour plates. A very good copy, with a little wear to the head of the spine and occasional looseness between sections.
Although this was the second story to be written by Potter it was the third to be published by Warne.
