First edition. 8vo. Original black boards with blind-stamped skull and gilt coins to the upper cover, in pictorial dustwrapper by Richard Chopping. Signed by Fleming on the front endpaper. A near fine copy with a bookplate to the front pastedown, in a near fine dustwrapper with a few light spots of foxing and trivial wear to the head of the spine.
M.J.H. Smith (bookplate to front pastedown) who purchased the book on publication from Hatchards and had it signed by Fleming at the time.
