First edition. Two volumes. Bound in contemporary full tan calf, gilt rules to the boards, raised bands to the spine, lettered in gilt and with gilt decoration to the sections. Fifty-two sepia aquatint plates, each protected by the original tissue guard, two engraved aquatint title pages and two engraved maps. A very good set, with the joints to vol. II repaired. Offsetting from aquatints else clean. Bookplates to the front pastedowns and inked gift inscription to the front blank of vol. II.
