A fine set of the authors' autobiography.
Noel Streatfeild lead a fascinating life, beginning in a vicarage in the South of England to join the theatre in the 1920's. She recalls being astounded by the incredible success of Ballet Shoes, stating in Away From the Vicarage "Everybody seemed to be writing about the book and with so much praise ...You'd think I had written the Bible."
