First edition, deluxe issue in publisher's full green soft leather with gilt vignette of Christopher Robin and his fishing rod on the upper cover and an elaborately decorated spine. In original glassine and publisher's box. All edges are gilt and the silk page marker is present. Endpapers and almost every page with line drawings by E.H. Shepard. A superb, fine copy, in a browned and worn glassine. The box is in very good condition indeed with small splits to a couple of corners.
