A Passage to India

FORSTER, E.M.

FORSTER, E.M. A Passage to India

Edward Arnold & Co., 1924.

First edition. Original red cloth, titles to spine in black, in buff printed dustwrapper. A fine copy, internally very fresh and the cloth perfectly clean and bright, with just a little spotting and darkening to the top edge, in a very good dustwrapper indeed, which is clean and crisp with very little wear to the edges, but with some darkening to the spine. An exceptionally well-preserved example of a fragile dustwrapper.

Forster's greatest and most famous novel.
"A miracle of intelligence, tact, irony, prudence and ability" (Gide)
