Single sheet of japon, folded to form a greetings card. Printed to upper cover, "With BEST WISHES for Christmas & the New Year from St. John & Cicely Hornby / Shelley House / Chelsea / 1916". Inside is four stanzas of Shemuel by Edward Ernest Bowen. Near fine with a little creasing.
PROVENANCE: Catherine Gwendoline Hornby (1871-1956), sister of Charles St. John Hornby, founder of the Ashendene Press.
