"The colored pictures by Mr. Armour are excellent, not only for their artistic merits but also because the artist's knowledge of horses and his gift of giving to the correct attitudes of the horse life and movement, cannot fail to be useful to all interested in Polo ponies as showing vividly the stress and strain to the pony occasioned by modern Polo" (Introduction).
