"I have walked past this bookshop for years and never dared to go in, but I needed a special gift so I took the plunge! I am so glad I did. It is not like any bookshop I have ever seen and is laid out like a country house library, but has the most amazing books, you could never believe were just sitting in a shop in Henley. The staff were friendly and very knowledgeable about books and book collecting and were happy to show me things even though they were way outside my price range. I looked at original Winnie the Pooh pictures and Jane Austen first editions and eventually bought a lovely edition of Pride and Prejudice in perfect condition for much less than I had seen copies for on the internet. They also gift wrapped it in a smart box and ribbon for free. Its a real Aladdin's cave and I can't wait for an excuse to go back."
