Catalogue 79: A Miscellany Of Rare Books

The miscellany presented over the pages of this catalogue encapsulates all of our interests, and we hope some of yours, with books taking you from the North Pole to the top of Everest, stopping off at Blandings Castle and Mansfield Park en route.

Our section on travel & exploration includes a beautiful collection of the A&C Black Colour Books, as well as classics of the genre by Livingstone, Peary and Hillary. These are followed by a collection of sporting books including two rare books on tennis as well as a host of fishing and golf books.

As ever we have a delightful range of children’s books with beautiful first editions by favourites such as Kenneth Grahame, A. A. Milne and Dr Seuss. Our selection of literature from the 19th and 20th centuries begins with Jane Austen and the Bronte sisters and features signed books by Ted Hughes, Philip Larkin and W. B. Yeats.

We hope that you can find the perfect gift, or a choice addition to your collection within.
