MORDEN, Robert

Oxfordshire - ,

Robert Morden, Thomas Cockerill & Ralph Smith, 1701.

First edition. 208mm x 156mm. Copperplate engraved map with recent hand-colouring. Detailed map of Oxfordshire with key and scale of miles to bottom left. Very good indeed, blank to verso, with fold lines to the map.

A very lovely hand-coloured miniature map of Oxfordshire, one of the Miniature Mordens produced by the cartographer in 1701, as a follow up to his larger maps seen in William Camden's Britannia.
