We are frequently asked to find special gifts for birthdays, retirements, weddings and other special events. Here are a few suggestions of books currently in stock, but feel free to contact us for individual ideas, call 01491 576427 or email a question.

For that significant birthday why not choose a book first published in the year the the recipients birth. Click here for books first published in 1948. Click here for books first published in 1958. Click here for books from 1968.
DELIVERY:
UK: Most items have a delivery time of 2/3 days in the UK. The price for delivery of an average size book is £3 ( first class mail, 1-2 days). Heavier items or sets cost £10 (next day courier delivery). Orders over £150 have FREE DELIVERY in the UK (2-3 days). Next day delivery is available for all items in the UK - please apply for rates.
Overseas customers will receive shipping cost with the confirmation of their order or feel free to ask. We can arrange airmail delivery (7-10 days) or Fedex next day service. An average size book will be £10 for airmail.

In addition to illustrated books we have a carefully selected range of original artwork by book illustrators; including work by Golden Age artists such as A. L. Bowley, Florence Harrison and Charles Folkard plus images from famous children's books such as Winnie the Pooh, The House at Pooh Corner and the tales of Beatrix Potter. We also have two great fun watercolours by children's author and artist Babette Cole.

OLYMPIA ANTIQUARIAN BOOK FAIR - 5th - 7th JUNE |

This year's summer Antiquarian Book Fair runs alongside the Olympia Antiques Fair. The opening times are:
Thursday 5th June - 4pm - 9pm
Friday 6th June - 11am - 7pm
Saturday 7th June - 11am - 6pm

PBFA June Book Fair |

We will be exhibiting at this year's PBFA June Fair, held at the Hotel Russell in Bloomsbury. The fair takes place on Sunday 1st June, from noon - 6pm.
We will have a wide selection of newly acquired stock on view and look forward to seeing both old and new customers there. |
